Why Go: Get the little ones out to hear stories with other children to interact with!

Where/When: Your home/Pizza Hut from ongoing until April 29th.
Why Go: Parents and teachers of preschoolers are encouraged to read to them at least 20 minutes a day at least 5 days a week! Also join the Bound Together Parent Program and recieve special pizza offers.

Pearl River Chamber of Commerce Easter Egg Hunt 2011
Where/When: Central Ave. Field in downtown Pearl River; Sun. Apr. 17 at
1 p.m. sharp.Why Go? Sponsored by the Pearl River Chamber of Commerce and Diviny & Merchant PC, this is an egg-cellent way to spend a Sunday with your family. This fun event promises to be one that kids, both big and small, will enjoy.

Seventh Annual Lt. John G. Bellew Memorial 5K Run
Where/When: Pearl River Hook and Ladder Firehouse, Central Avenue in Pearl River;
Sat., Apr. 16.; Kids’ race starts at 10 a.m. and adults’ race begins at 11 a.m.
Why Go? This annual race is held in loving memory of fallen firefighter, Lt. John Bellew. Originally created to be a Scholarship Fund for the children of members of the FDNY, the John Bellew Memorial Fund has extended its purpose to also provide financial assistance to the families of members of the FDNY and NYPD who have suffered non-line of duty deaths.
There will be a post-race party with food, beverages and entertainment. T-Shirts for all runners while supplies last.
