Thruway DWI Charge for Connecticut Man

State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for a traffic violation at about 11 p.m. Aug. 28.

The driver, Frederick O. Schweizer Jr., 65, was found to be intoxicated. The Rowayton, Connecticut resident was transported and processed at SP Tarrytown, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.10 percent. He was charged with:

• Driving While Intoxicated, Unclassified Misdemeanor

Schweizer was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Ramapo Court Oct. 1.
