Tomorrow: Nanuet's Uncle Louie G's Opens Their Doors

Two local Nanuet families are opening up a new ice cream and italian ice shop right in the heart of Nanuet. Joe and Irene Fitzgerald along with Joe and Roseann Calvano are opening the doors to Uncle Louie G's at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 4.

They thought about this idea a few months ago and decided to go forward with this fun, new venture. They have seven kids between the two families and are excited to bring some ice cold sweets right in time for summer.

Located at 147 S. Middletown Rd, next to , they'll be serving ice cream with 28 flavors to pick from and Italian Ice in 36 flavors. There are also flavors with no sugar added as well as milk shakes, smoothies, slushies, sundaes and brownie sundaes. A variety of toppings are also available.

Their grand opening will be coming up soon although they're opening their business ahead of time. It'll be cash only from June 4 until their grand opening. Check back with Patch to find out when their grand opening celebration will be.
