Tonight: Alex Gromack, Ed Day To Attend Nanuet Civic Meeting
The meeting is at 7:15 p.m. at the Nanuet library

Have a question about your school tax bill or the Tappan Zee Bridge project? Then come to tonight's Nanuet Civic Association meeting. It's going to be at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday Sept. 6 in the Community Room.
Here's a list of the guest speakers who will be available to answer questions as well.

- Legislator Ed Day will speak on The Tappan Zee Bridge and answer questions on County issues.
- Supervisor Alex Gromack will be present.
- Detective McDonald ,CPD, will give a presentation on “Sexual Predators in your Neighborhood”.
- Harold Straut will discuss progress on the New Firehouse.
- Jim Flynn will unravel the mystery of the 2% (or not) School Tax raise.
- Representatives of the Town Council will hopefully explain new appointments and other changes in Clarkstown.
- The Police/Highway and Building Departments will be on hand to address community concerns.
"Come on out, bring a neighbor, bring your questions and concerns," said Bill Ryan, president of the civic association board. The election committee will be formed for a new board. The 2012-13 membership dues need to be in by September.
