Troopers Make 2 Weekend DWI Arrests In Clarkstown

New York state police from Troop F said they removed 25 impaired drivers from roadways this past weekend. Four of the arrests were in Rockland County.

On March 29, State Police Haverstraw arrested Eric Williams, 32, of Westwood, NJ for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 59 in the town of Clarkstown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.

On March 30, State Police Haverstraw arrested Rudi Lemus Vasquez, 32, of Garnerville, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 202 in the town of Haverstraw when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.

On March 31, State Police Haverstraw arrested Timothy McKnight, 29, of New Rochelle, NY for DWI. He was traveling on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in the town of Clarkstown when his vehicle became stuck in the mud in the center median. Troopers responded to offer assistance. While speaking to McKnight, troopers determined that he was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.

On March 31, State Police Haverstraw arrested Kaleem King, 26, of New Windsor, NY for DWI. He was traveling on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in the town of Orangetown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.
