Two Irvington Girls Charged with Shoplifting at the Palisades Mall
Clarkstown police allege they had $1,249 worth of clothing.

Clarkstown Police were called to Lord and Taylor, located at the Palisades Mall, for a report of shoplifting, at 6:20 p.m. Feb. 1.
Two girls were reportedly observed by loss prevention employees taking merchandise from the dressing room area valued at $1,249. The merchandise consisted of clothing.
The two, ages 16 and 17, from Irvington, NY were arrested and processed at the scene. They were each charged with felony grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

They were released to the custody of their parents with an appearance ticket requiring them to return to court in a few weeks.
Police did not release their names. They are eligible for youthful offender status, which may only be granted by a judge.
