Two Loose Dogs Involved in Minor Biting Incident

Early Wednesday morning, two neighborhood dogs, pit bull mixes, had gotten loose and bit another pit bull mix that was being walked at the time.

"A lady was walking her pit bull mix and one of the (loose) dogs bit her dog on the ear," said Clarkstown Sgt. Harry Baumann. "They're all neighborhood dogs and all dogs are accounted for."

He added that the incident was minor. A Patch reader said that the incident occurred around the Middletown Road and Highview Avenue area.
