Uncontested Tom Zugibe Remains District Attorney (VIDEO)
He's on all party lines
Incumbent Tom Zugibe, 58, ran uncontested for Rockland County District Attorney on the following party lines: Democrat, Republican, Conservative, Working Parties and Independence.
“I feel very very blessed,” said Zugibe. “I feel blessed for my friends, my wonderful family. I fell very blessed with the kind of career I’ve had. I’ve been an attorney for almost 32 years. I served as a judge for almost 18 years. I was an assistant prosecutor. But I have to tell you that the last four years as DA has been the greatest time of my life. I’m so honored and gratified to be DA. It means the world. Thank you to the voters of Rockland County.”
He lives in West Haverstraw where he served as Village Justice for 18 years before being elected as District Attorney in 2007.

Results from elections officials show Zugibe with 28,110 Votes.
He got his bachelors degree from Manhattan College in 1975 and a Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 1979. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York as well as the Federal District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. For more information on him, read this .
