There are a few things coming to in Nanuet that residents should go out and vote on: Trustee Elections for the Library and School boards and the Proposed Budget for the Nanuet Public Library and the Nanuet Union Free School District

  • Where: Nanuet High School
  • When: 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 3

Deadline to Submit Absentee Applications

  • Where: Get absentee applications at the School District Clerk, 101 Church Street, Nanuet between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • When: Absentee applications need to be submitted to the Clerk seven days before the election, or May 10, to ensure that the ballot is mailed to the voter in time.

Register to Vote

  • Where: Nanuet High School
  • When: 1-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 11

Deadline for Completed Absentee Ballots

  • Where: Completed absentee ballots need to be submitted to the School District Clerk, 101 Church Street, Nanuet between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • When: Absentee ballots need to be submitted to the Clerk by 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 17
Register to Vote
  • To vote, you have to be:
  • 18 years of age or older on the day of the vote, citizen of the United States
  • Resident of the Nanuet School District for at least 30 days before the vote
  • Registered to vote.
  • If you are a resident in the school district and voted in a general election or in an annual school district or library election during the last four calendar years
