Updated List of Closed Clarkstown Roads

Saturday's snow storm brought down multiple trees and branches blocking roads and falling onto wires causing . Officials are residents to limit Halloween Trick or Treating activities. 

Out of the 1,500 named Clarkstown streets, Saturday night ended with 108 closed roads. After a from highway workers, Wayne Ballard, Highway Superintendent said they were down to 27.

After a good night's sleep, the workers are out again and now there are 20 roads closed. The list of streets are below.

"And all of these roads were waiting for O&R because of downed wires," he added. "The roads are closed because of downed trees that have wires in them, downed wires and/or large trees that are blocking the road that "we haven't gotten to yet. All over town there are trees on the side of the road because we just pushed them off for emergency services to get through."

Clarkstown Roads closed:

The Town is parents and guardians to watch children closely if they choose to go trick-or-treating to ensure their safety.  There are portions of local roads closed at this time due to downed lines and trees on the road.  Children need to be told not to touch downed lines, stay far away from them and always assume they are energized and extremely dangerous.
