Wags for Wheels Dog Walk - Sunday, May 31st

Meals on Wheels Programs & Services of Rockland will be holding our third annual Wags for Wheels Dog Walk at Children’s Park on Grotke Road in Chestnut Ridge on Sunday, May 31st. (Rain date - Saturday, June 6th) The walk begins with registration at 9AM.

Proceeds from the walk help support the programs and services of Meals on Wheels as well as our Mutts ’n’ Meows Pet Food Pantry. The Pet Food Pantry provides seniors who are unable to afford quality pet foods for their animal companions with nutritious food. Pet food is available to all Rockland seniors who are in need.

In addition to the walk itself that takes place along the park’s shady, paved paths, there will be vendors, canine demonstrations, dog contests including ”best costume,” ”best trick” and ”best tail wager.” Prizes will be awarded for our dog contest winners. All four legged participants will receive a “doggie bag” loaded with goodies. Bring the whole family for a morning of fun and surprises.
