Weekend Weather Forecast Includes Plenty of Sun in Nanuet

It’s not perfect, but we’re looking at a pretty nice weather weekend.
We’ll deal with some gray skies today and a slight chance of showers. The high temperature will be around 60 degrees.
While this will be far from a heat wave, it will be noticeably warmer across the region throughout the weekend and into the early part of the new week, said AccuWeather.com Chief Meteorologist Elliot Abrams.

Saturday is the best day of the weekend. The forecast calls for partly sunny skies, temps around 70 with a light wind. It will be a bit chilly Saturday night with temps back into the mid 40s.
On Sunday there is a very slight rain chance after 12 p.m. but also plenty of sunshine is also predicted. The good news is the temps will be in the 70s.

Ironically, the best day of the year weather-wise may be on Monday, when it’s forecast to be sunny and temperatures may hit the upper 70s.

- Today-Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers. Highs in the lower 60s. East winds around 5 mph.
- Tonight-Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 40s. Northeast winds around 5 mph.
- Saturday-Partly sunny. A slight chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 70s. North winds around 5 mph... Becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of rain 20 percent.
- Saturday Night-Partly cloudy in the evening...then clearing. Lows in the mid 40s. Southwest winds around 5 mph.
- Sunday-Partly sunny. A slight chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 70s. West winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
- Sunday Night-Partly cloudy in the evening...then clearing. Lows around 50.
- Monday-Sunny. Highs in the upper 70s.
