Wet Weekend Likely in Nanuet: But What Kind?

Here are details on a still-cold forecast for Rockland County.

NANUET, NY — The weather in the Hudson Valley the first week of spring hasn’t been a great one. Bitter cold the past two days, lows in the teens, and as we head into the weekend there is a mini-warmup but also the chance of mixed precipitation.

There's even a Winter Weather Advisory out in the north and west of the HV for Friday.

"That is due to an approaching warm front, that will trigger some light snow and sleet showers out in front of it," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.

Next, we could see rain plus fog on Saturday and Sunday, with the ol' wintry mix mixed in in the northern parts of the Hudson Valley.

The next chance to see the sun for a sustained period of time isn’t until late next week.
