Winter Storm Expected Wednesday: Work Week Weather

We’re looking at unsettled weather between now and Friday.

A sizeable storm is moving north, with impacts for Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties midweek.

Starting Tuesday after noon, rain, freezing rain and sleet -- maybe even some light snow -- are possible in advance. That could mean a slippery Wednesday AM commute.

The actual storm will be bringing a lot of snow -- to the midwest. When it hits us Wednesday, we’re going to see lots and lots of rain.

“Yet another storm, that will find a new and interesting way to miss the Hudson Valley,“ says Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.

In the wake of the storm, temperatures will drop into the 30s.
