Woman Injured By Car On Route 59

SPRING VALLEY, NY — A woman was critically injured crossing Route 59 Sunday. She was crossing near Dutch Lane at 10:15 p.m. when she was hit by an SUV, The Journal News reported.

The 34-year-old was taken to Westchester Medical Center. Route 59 was closed while Spring Valley police investigated the scene. Police also spoke to the driver, who stayed there, TJN said.
