ZBA To Hear Appeal Of Building Inspector Decision: Nanuet Meetings

NANUET, NY — As the new year begins, our local officials are still busy conducting the public's business in plain sight.

There are plenty of upcoming chances to help tend to our democracy close to the roots. There are town and school board meetings in the coming week:

• Zoning Board of Appeals, 7 p.m. Monday in Clarkstown Town Hall. The agenda includes an appeal by Citadelle Realty Group of the decision by the town building inspector to withhold a building permit for a proposed structure at 1 Cindy Lane in the hamlet of Central Nyack.
• Architectural Historic Review Board, 7:30 p.m. Monday in Clarkstown Town Hall
• Nanuet Board of Education, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nanuet High School
• Planning Board, 7 p.m. Wednesday in Clarkstown Town Hall
• Clarkstown Board of Education, 8 p.m. Thursday, Clarkstown High School South
• Town Council, 9:30 a.m. Friday, Street Community Center, 31 Zukor Road, New City. Workshop by Parks & Recreation.
