• Whipple Foundation Buys Putnam Press/Times (highlandscurrent.org) — Nelsonville residents will see their official public notices continue in The Times, which has been purchased by the nonprofit Whipple Foundation for the Preservation of Putnam County. The Mahopac-based paper, dating back to the 1800s, remains free in Philipstown and continues under editor Holly Crocco, who says coverage and fairness will stay consistent despite the ownership change.
