1 Dead, 3 Injured In Midtown Scaffolding Collapse
Scaffolding collapsed near a building at East 36th Street and Lexington Avenue — the second structure to fall in the city on Thursday.

NEW YORK CITY — A scaffolding collapse in Midtown claimed one life and left three people injured, authorities said.
The collapse occurred Thursday at 4:26 p.m., causing FDNY personnel to scramble to 136 E. 36 St., near Lexington Avenue, officials said.
They arrived to find one person dead and three injured. Medics rushed the injured people to Bellevue Hospital, according to FDNY.
