4 Suspects Stole Nearly $4K In Cash During NYC Robbery Spree

NEW YORK CITY — Police are searching for four suspects who are behind nearly 20 robbery incidents in Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn dating back to February.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect on Thursday.

In total, the group stole more than $3,600 in cash among other items. They targeted cab drivers and passengers who were being dropped off or picked up.

In the first reported incident on Jan. 21 in East Harlem, two suspects approached a 30-year-old sitting in his vehicle, and sprayed an unknown substance in the victim's face, police said.

They removed $1,500 and a debit card. The suspects then fled the scene.

In another notable incident on May 3 in front of 38 West 56 Street, three suspects pepper sprayed a 22-year-old man in his vehicle and removed his wallet and $1,280 in cash. The suspects then fled the scene.

From May 2 to 4, the suspects committed a total of 8 incidents.

In the last reported incident, four suspects targeted a 75-year-old man in front of 225 West 16 Street. They took off with the victim's wallet and cellphone, police said.

The first suspect is a woman, approximately 17 to 19 years old, 5 feet tall, 110 pounds, slim build, black hair, and brown eyes.

The second suspect is a female, approximately 17 to 19 years old, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, medium build, long black hair, and brown eyes

The third suspect is a female approximately 17 to 19 years old, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and a medium build.

The four suspect is a man approximately 17 to 19 years old, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 110 pounds, and a slim build.
