Advocate Health Advisors Names Ruben Quintero Regional Manager

Advocate Health Advisors has named Ruben Quintero as Regional Manager, Downstate New York. In his role, Quintero will be responsible for recruiting insurance agents and working with established agents and agencies in New York, Long Island and throughout downstate New York.

Quintero, who is based in New York, also will work with national insurance carriers that offer Medicare Advantage plans.

“I am incredibly excited to have Ruben on the Advocate team to recruit, train and support agents in the New York market,” Advocate Health Advisors National Business Director Jeff Crumbaugh said.

Quintero brings more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong background in Medicare insurance plans. Prior to joining Advocate Health Advisors, Quintero held managerial roles at Healthfirst, Affinity Health Plan, Health Care Partners IPA, Agewell New York, Amida Care, and Senior Whole Health.

A Long Island resident, Quintero is a veteran of the U.S. Army and earned his MBA from LIU Post. He has been honored by the Boy Scouts of America at its Annual Hispanic Leadership Luncheon and received the Manager of the Year award by the Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
