Ali Aslam Brings a Peaceful Release in a Time of Chaos

"The Last American" is an album for the ages

Ali Aslam is open and honest about a personal conflict that has been with him since birth, but uses his art as a form of expression to tell his story to the world, and give them a chance to resonate with him and his life.

With his debut album, “The Last American” Aslam explores what it is like to be human, and more specifically, what identity is, what brings about the sense of belonging we all hunger for, and how these collectively form our relationships to ourselves, people around us, and our societal culture.

The album features tracks like, Photocopy and The Wise Man and The Fool, both records that Ali released as singles to give fans a taste of what’s to come. But the tracks that really impacted us were Refugee, Color of the Sun, and Brave. These tracks stood out to us because of the hard to miss passion in Ali Aslam’s vocals, and of course, the story and message behind the lyrics.

We admire Ali Aslam’s strength and bravery when being able to express his own conflicts in music and put it out for the world to see. We are so excited to hear more from this artist, and urge those who feel as though they may not belong to listen to “The Last American.”
