Alliance for Positive Change Announces New Board Members

Benjamin Metsch and Jonian Rafti join Alliance Board

Alliance for Positive Change, a nonprofit that provides low-income New Yorkers living with HIV and other chronic conditions with access to quality health care, housing, overdose prevention, and peer training, has elected Benjamin Metsch and Jonian Rafti to its Board of Directors for two-year terms.

Benjamin Metsch is the Chief Strategy Officer at The Fortune Society, where he leads strategic planning, housing development initiatives, and risk management. He oversees the development of affordable and supportive housing for individuals with prior criminal justice involvement and advises nonprofit organizations on project development, financing, and regulatory compliance. Benjamin brings decades of experience in law, real estate development, and nonprofit leadership.

Jonian Rafti is an associate in the Corporate Department and a member of the Health Care Group at Proskauer Rose LLP, where his practice focuses exclusively on the health care sector. He advises health systems, investors, management companies, physician groups, and lenders on complex transactions and regulatory matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, compliance with federal and state health care laws, and not-for-profit governance. Jonian is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and a Certified Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP), with prior governance experience as a member of the Board of Directors and Vice Chair of The Andrew Goodman Foundation.
