NEW YORK CITY — Bed Bath & Beyond is closing stores across New York City in a business bloodbath ahead of potential bankruptcy.
A closure list released by the company this week shows three Bed Bath & Beyond locations — two in Brooklyn and one in Queens — will shutter.
All the company's Harmon Face Value stores will close, which will affect four locations in the city. The company will close a buybuy BABY in Brooklyn as well, according to the list.
"As we continue to work with our advisors to consider multiple paths, we are implementing actions to manage our business as efficiently as possible," a spokesperson for the parent company said.

A Sunset Park building along Third Avenue has closures of all three stores, according to the list.
Bed Bath & Beyond previously announced waves of store closures and is teetering near bankruptcy, Bloomberg reported.
