King Charles III, Queen Camilla Arrive In NYC: Here's What To Know

The trip to New York City is part of the British monarchy's four-day visit to the United States.

NEW YORK CITY — King Charles III and Queen Camilla are in New York City on Wednesday as part of the British monarchy's four-day visit to the United States.

The royal couple are expected to visit the 9/11 Memorial and meet with families of victims and first responders.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani will also meet with the British monarchy on Wednesday.

King Charles will meet with a community organization that helps children and young people affected by food insecurity.

Queen Camilla will give a gift to the New York City Public Library in honor of the 100th anniversary of the 1926 publication of “Winnie the Pooh.”

Camilla will donate a “Roo” doll to the library’s collection.

The last stop on the four-day U.S. trip will be in Virginia where they will connect with local communities, heritage and nature.

This is King Charles' first trip to the U.S. since 2018 when he attended the funeral of former President George H.W. Bush.
