Iconic NYC Building Ranked Among Best Attractions In The World: See List

NEW YORK CITY — A renowned New York City building was recently voted one of the best tourist attractions in the world.

Tripadvisor, in its 2026 Travelers' Choice Awards for Things to Do, ranked the Empire State Building as the fourth-best attraction in the entire world.

The Art Deco building only trailed behind The Royal Yacht Britannia, the Basílica de la Sagrada Familia and Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay, according to Tripadvisor.

The overall rankings were decided by millions of user reviews and ratings.

The Empire State Building features a museum and exhibits on the 80th floor. The main attraction is the 86th floor and 102nd observatory decks offering 360-degree views of the city.

The building is also known for its world-famous LED lighting system. It was one of two attractions in the U.S. to make the list with the Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee ranking number 9.
