NEW YORK CITY — A man was slashed at a Manhattan subway station early Friday morning, police said.
The incident happened at 49th Street subway station just before 1 a.m.
According to police, a 35-year-old man got into an argument with another individual.
The situation quickly turned violent with the suspect slashing the man in the neck.
The alleged suspect fled the scene after the attack.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
No arrests have been made. An investigation remains ongoing.
