Man Accused Of Slashing Subway Rider At NYC Station, No Arrests Made Yet

NEW YORK CITY — Police are looking for a suspect who slashed a subway rider over the weekend.

The incident happened at 49th Street subway station just before 1 a.m. on Friday

According to police, a 35-year-old man got into an argument with the alleged suspect

The situation quickly turned violent with the suspect slashing the man in the neck.

The suspect fled the scene after the attack.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect after the incident.

He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, tan leather jacket and was carrying a backpack. The man also has multiple facial tattoos.
