New Poll Reveals Who's Ahead In 3 NYC Democratic Primary Races: See Here

NEW YORK CITY — A newly released poll has revealed who has the early lead in three upcoming New York City Democratic primaries

NY-10

In the NY-10 primary, former Comptroller Brad Lander has a big lead over incumbent Dan Goldman 57 percent to 23 percent among likely Democratic primary voters in the district, according to an Emerson College/PIX11 poll.

Lander also led across age groups in the poll. Among voters under 40, 73 percent voters backed Lander over Goldman who received 15 percent.

Four hundred and fifty voters in the district were surveyed for the poll.

NY-12

In NY-12 Democratic primary, Assembly Member Micah Lasher leads the pack in the field but only with a slight lead.

Lasher leads with 22 percent of the vote ahead of fellow Assembly Member Alex Bores who garnered 20 percent of support among likely Democratic primary voters in the district.

Jack Schlossberg came in third with 11 percent followed by George Conway who got 10 percent.

Emerson College surveyed 425 likely Democratic primary voters in the district.

NY-7

In the 7th District, Assembly Member Claire Valdez leads Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso 23 percent to 21 percent among likely Democratic voters.

City Councilwoman Julie Won came in third with 13 percent. Notably, 43 percent of voters remain undecided on who they will vote for.

Voters under 40 preferred Valdez to Reynoso, 33 percent to 15 percent, according to the poll.

Older voters backed Reynoso over Valdez, 27 percent to 13 percent.

The poll surveyed 350 Democratic primary voters in the district.

The primary election is just over a month away on June 23. The poll was conducted from May 16-17.
