NEW YORK CITY — New York City is asking New Yorkers to vote on the best jingle that will become the city's 2-K Child Care program official anthem.
The Mayor's office launched the competition in April asking New Yorkers to submit 15 to 30-second jingles encouraging families to apply for 2-K.
The submissions then were reduced down to five remaining finalists.
Voting opened on May 27 at 10 a.m. and will close on June 3 at 10 p.m.
The winning jingle will become the official 2-K theme and be played on the radio.
Families can start applying for the program on June 2 and applications will close on June 26.
There are five districts that will offer the 2-K program
