NEW YORK CITY — Two food products sold at a Brooklyn supermarket are being recalled for undeclared allergy risks, according to the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets.
A sandwich and tuna spread product sold at Foodoo Kosher Supermarket are being recalled.
The sandwiches and tuna spread contained undeclared eggs, sesame and wheat.
Undeclared ingredients on a food item poses serious risks for those with certain allergies.
The affected food products have the following identifying information:
Cafe28 Tuna Sandwich: with best-by dates from June 1 to 4 and comes in a clear plastic deli container.
Cafe28 Tuna Spread: with best-by dates from June 4 to 9 and comes in a clear plastic container as well.
The recall was initiated by FOODOO LLC and customers who purchased affected products are being told to return them to the store for a full refund.
