NEW YORK, NY— Joseph P. Addabbo Jr. leads the race with 69.87 percent of the vote, according to the NY State Board of Elections, as results show a wide margin over Albert Baldeo, who holds 24.50 percent.
Addabbo received 7,427 votes as all 151 of 151 districts reported.
Baldeo received 2,604 votes.
Write-in votes accounted for 0.51 percent, blank ballots totaled 5.01 percent, and void ballots made up 0.11 percent of the 10,629 total votes cast.
Election officials reported full reporting across Queens and a small portion of Kings County included in the district, with Addabbo maintaining a consistent lead throughout the tabulation.
