Winners will receive notification between June 30 and July 2 and may claim up to four tickets per household. Children under 2 do not require a ticket.

Selected attendees will gain access to prime viewing areas at Brooklyn Bridge Park in Brooklyn and the Seaport Districtin Manhattan.

Additional non-ticketed viewing areas will also open along the FDR Drive.

“On the Fourth of July, Americans come together to look at where we’ve come as a nation, and where we want to go together in the future,” Mamdani said. “Hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers will gather along our waterfront to celebrate, and we’re making sure that some of the best views are available for free.”

City officials said winners will receive instructions by email to claim tickets and select a viewing location.

Entry details, ADA-accessible areas and prohibited items will be posted at july4.events.nyc.

Brooklyn Bridge Park leadership said the waterfront site will serve as a central viewing area for the holiday display.
