MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The Maplewood community is invited to celebrate National Night Out next month at Maplecrest Park.
The event will be held on Tuesday, August 4 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The free event aims to strengthen partnerships between law enforcement and the community while promoting neighborhood safety and unity.
Attendees can enjoy an evening of food, music from a DJ, giveaways, entertainment, and games. The event is open to everyone.
National Night Out is a nationwide initiative that encourages positive relationships between residents, police officers, and local organizations.
The event is being supported by the Maplewood Police Department, the Maplewood Health Department, and the Township of Maplewood.
Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend and take part in this family-friendly evening of fun and community engagement.
