NEW YORK CITY — Two Saturday Night Live stars are inviting New Yorkers to a special one-night only comedy show — all taking place aboard a defunct ferry boat.
Davidson and Jost purchased a defunct Staten Island Ferry, named the John F. Kennedy, four years ago, and now it will host the "Snapple Island Ferry" comedy show on Sep. 17.
"Turning the ferry into a floating comedy club with Snapple makes more sense than anything else we considered, and it still doesn't make much sense," Davidson in a statement.
"Either way, we're giving people a chance to take a break, have a laugh, and do something completely ridiculous with us."
The pair is releasing free tickets each day between Thursday and next Tuesday at 3 p.m., limited to two per person
New Yorkers can get tickets here.
The ferry boat will be docked at Pier 17 with the show set to run from 7 to 10 p.m.
Besides the SNL stars, other comedians are expected to make appearances at the show.
The John F. Kennedy ferry boat originally operated from 1965 to 2021.
