NEW YORK CITY — Flatiron's NRTHRN Strong has partnered with Manhattan-based longevity medicine practice Extension Health to connect functional training with data-driven health monitoring.

As part of the partnership, NRTHRN Strong members who complete an initial VO2 Max assessment at Extension Health for the standard $250 fee will receive a complimentary second test at either of the practice's two New York City locations.

"People are putting more time and energy into their health than ever before, but most still have little insight into whether that effort is making a difference," Nicoline Roth, Founder and CEO of NRTHRN Strong, said.

The program is designed to help members establish a fitness baseline and track changes over time.

Members will also receive a $250 credit toward Extension Health's Comprehensive Diagnostics Package, which includes a DEXA scan, resting metabolic rate test, VO2 Max assessment, grip strength testing, longevity blood work and a consultation.

The VO2 Max test takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes and directly measures oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production during a progressive treadmill test.

A clinical team reviews the results with participants, who receive a full report and a complimentary results consultation.
