A Moment of Magic, a national nonprofit dedicated to harnessing the power of play to support children facing serious illness and their families, celebrated a major milestone at its annual Night of Magic Gala on Friday, September 25th, at 230 Fifth Avenue in New York City, surpassing its $50,000 fundraising goal.

The annual celebration brought together supporters, volunteers, community partners and friends of the organization for an evening centered on the children and families at the heart of A Moment of Magic's mission.

Funds raised through Night of Magic will directly support A Moment of Magic's programs, helping the organization continue to provide meaningful moments of joy, connection and emotional support to medically vulnerable children and their families. Through its network of college student volunteers, A Moment of Magic partners with hospitals and community organizations across the country to create experiences that help children feel seen, supported and celebrated during some of their most difficult moments.

"Reaching and surpassing our $50,000 goal means so much more than hitting a number," said Kylee McGrane-Zarnoch, Founder and Executive Director of A Moment of Magic. "Every dollar raised represents another opportunity to show up for a child and family when they need it most. The generosity we saw at Night of Magic allows us to continue creating moments of joy, connection and hope while expanding the support we can provide to children facing serious illness across the country. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made this night possible."

What began in 2014 with a single hospital visit and a princess dress has grown into a national network of college student volunteers supporting medically vulnerable children and their families. To date, A Moment of Magic has reached more than 185,000 children through partnerships with hospitals and community organizations nationwide.

Night of Magic serves not only as a celebration of that impact, but also as an opportunity to build the community of supporters who make the organization's work possible.

"Night of Magic reminds us what can happen when people come together around a shared belief that every child deserves moments of joy, connection and hope," added McGrane-Zarnoch. "We leave this year's event energized and excited about what we can make possible together."
