Book 'My Life With My Wife' is funny & tragic, just like real life

I received a copy of a new memoir by a pastor from California who lost his beloved wife, Diane, to a rare disease. He somehow discovered my friends' Indie publishing house (RebelBooksPress.com), through a funny mistake, and the now the book is available in all bookstores, both in print and eBook.

The story, though sad, is also hilariously funny. Yes, I belly laughed - a lot. If you have kids and especially if you have a blended family, you must read this book.

It's really a talent to be able to write lovingly about your wife, who you are still mourning, yet have the strength to remember the adventures you both shared. It's always true that no matter how much the loss of your loved one is, you should try to remember the happy times.

I highly recommend this book.

Pastor Leone shares his faith in the book, but it's so well done that no matter your choice of religion or spirituality, you will relate to every page of this book. Some of my favorite true stories in the memoir are Bill and Diane's adventures in Ireland. Seen from the author's eyes, you will also fall in love with his amazing wife.

What sets this book apart from other memoirs about loss is the author's voice. In spite of the tragic loss of losing his soulmate, Leone remembers all the details that formed this deep relationship with his wife and blended family. He also reminds us all that love is very real, and does not die with the loss of a loved one. It's really a testament to facing death with faith, dignity and mourning in a new way: with happy memories that will never fade away.
