'Breaking Bad' And 'Scarface' Actor Mark Margolis Dead At 83

Mark Margolis died Thursday in New York City, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

NEW YORK CITY, NY — Mark Margolis, the actor perhaps best known for his performance as the bell-ringing Hector Salamanca on "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul," is dead at 83, his son told The Hollywood Reporter.

Margolis died Thursday in New York City after a short illness, according to the outlet.

According to a biography provided by IMDb, Margolis was born on November 26, 1939 in Philadelphia.

Margolis studied at Temple University for a short period of time before moving to New York to study drama at the Actors Studio with Stella Adler, his biography said.

He had been married to Jacqueline Margolis since 1962 and they have one child together, according to his biography.
