Bronx Man Sexually Abused 3 Girls During After School Tennis: NYPD
The girls — who were all under 12 — were sexually assaulted inside a Bronx school by Gerardo Gutierrez, 30, police said.

NEW YORK CITY — A Bronx man stands accused of sexually assaulting at least three young girls during an after-school tennis program, police said.
Gerardo Gutierrez, 30, was arrested on Feb. 15 following an investigation of abuse allegations within P.S. 100X Isaac Clason in The Bronx between November 2019 and July 2021, authorities announced Friday.
All the girls were under 12 when the abuse occurred at the Taylor Avenue school in Soundview, which hosted an after-school program by the New York Junior Tennis League, police said.

Police believe there could be more victims, according to a New York Daily News report, which detailed the accusations against Gutierrez.
It was not immediately clear what connection Gutierrez had to the school or why police waited six weeks to announce the arrest.

Gutierrez faces charges of sex abuse, a criminal sex act, sexual conduct against a child and three counts of an in a manner injurious to a child under 17, police said.
NYPD officials asked for the public’s help for information on Gutierrez.
