Bronx Woman Charged With Stabbing Man To Death
Jeremy Lantigua died after being stabbed in the chest. Elizabeth Marrero, who lives at the same address as him, was charged with murder.

THE BRONX, NY — A stabbing in the Bronx left one man dead and a woman — who lived at the address as the victim — has been charged with murder, police said. Officers responded to the scene just before 2:45 a.m. Sunday for a report that a man had been stabbed inside a residence on the 1900 block of Prospect Avenue, near East 178th Street.
Police found 26-year-old Jeremy Lantigua with a stab wound to his chest inside the residence, police said. He was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was declared dead.
A knife was found at the scene.

Elizabeth Marrero, 26, was taken into custody and has been charged with second-degree murder. It wasn't immediately known if she has an attorney who could comment on charges.
An investigation remains ongoing.
