Brooklyn Mother Drops 6-Month-Old Baby From Balcony: NYPD
The baby boy is in stable condition as police investigate the Thursday morning incident in Borough Park, authorities said.
NEW YORK CITY — A woman dropped her 6-month-old baby off a balcony in Brooklyn this week, according to police.
The mother, 30, dropped her baby from a second-story balcony on 51st Street near 19th Avenue in Borough Park about 4:50 a.m. Thursday morning, police said.
The father, 32, woke up to the screams of his wife, who told him what she'd just done, according to the NYPD.

Medics rushed the baby to an area hospital where he was was listed in critical but stable condition as of Friday morning, police said.
No arrests have been made and the investigation was ongoing as of Friday.
