2025 Obon Festival

Welcome to the 2025 Obon Festival!

Come join us at the New York Buddhist Church for a day filled with traditional Japanese music and dance. The Obon Festival is a time to honor and celebrate the spirits of our ancestors.

For the first time ever, we are hosting this event around the corner from our Temple - on West 106th Street (between Riverside Drive and West End Ave). Enjoy performances by taiko drummers, participate in the Bon Odori dance and visit our Temple
