Bid on notable works of art by Walter Emerson Baum and two paintings by George William Sotter, complemented by entries from Charles Warren Eaton, August Friedrich Albrecht Schenck, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Yozo Hamaguchi, Charles Fazzino, Louis Icart, Elger Esser, and others. Newcomb Macklin frames also appear. Beyond the art, the catalog includes jewelry such as a 14k Diamond Brooch, Platinum Diamond Pendant, and 14k Ruby Diamond Ring, alongside wristwatches by Patek Philippe, Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Longines, and Movado, with multiple pocket watches represented. Coin and bullion lots feature American Eagle and American Buffalo issues, a 1908 $20 St. Gaudens, and a Chinese Gold Panda pendant. Silver offerings include services by Georg Jensen and Tiffany, as well as hollowware by Whiting, Dominick and Haff, and John Emes. Decorative pieces range from Herend porcelain and Baccarat crystal to Tiffany Studios accessories and a Louis Vuitton steamer trunk. Historical materials include signed documents by William Penn, Francis Daniel Pastorius, Thomas Penn, Robert Morris, Queen Victoria, Charles Lindbergh, Orville Wright, and Thomas Edison. Furniture and Rugs are also offered to include Philadelphia Chippendale Side Chairs, Napoleon III Gilt Bronze and Ebonized Side Cabinet, and a Persian Kashan Carpet.

Mid-Century Modern and Design Auction

Alderfer Auction's Mid-Century Modern sale presents an outstanding collection of furniture and contemporary art.
