Tavern on the Green's Annual Christmas Tree Lighting, Featuring Broadway’s Kelsie Watts

Tavern on the Green, the iconic restaurant nestled in the heart of Central Park, will kick off the holiday season with a festive Christmas Tree Lighting celebration on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 5:30–8:00 PM. Guests are invited to enjoy a cozy evening of hot chocolate and cookies, live holiday performances, and plenty of seasonal cheer beneath the restaurant’s twinkling lights and Central Park backdrop. The evening will feature a performance and meet-and-greet with Kelsie Watts, acclaimed recording artist and currently starring as Jane Seymour in Broadway’s Six, along with a special holiday performance by Quarantined Quartet. This family friendly event is free and open to the public, making it a quintessential New York holiday moment for families, friends, and visitors alike. Proceeds and donations from this event will go to the West Side Campaign Against Hunger, which provides healthy food choices for neighbors in need.
