Join chef/co-owner Johnny Curiel and co-owner Kacie Curiel of Alma Fonda Fina, a 2025 James Beard Award Nominee® for Best New Restaurant and Michelin-starred restaurant in Denver, Colorado, for a vibrant contemporary Mexican dinner.

Born and raised in Guadalajara, chef Curiel draws inspiration from the foods he grew up eating and years spent cooking across Mexico and the United States.

Expect seasonal dishes such as agave-roasted sweet potato with salsa macha, aguachile-style crudos, masa-based sopes with braised short rib, and halibut in watercress mole verde, all built around housemade tortillas and layered sauces.

The same creative momentum also drives the Curiels’ newest restaurant, Alteño, named to Esquire’s Best New Restaurants in America list for 2025.
