The USTA Eastern section and the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST) are co-hosting a Rally for a Cure for Angelman Syndrome fundraiser at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, home of the US Open. All ages and tennis levels are welcome for on-court casual tennis round robin play. The fundraiser will include fun tennis drills, games, Red Ball Tennis play and some friendly family competition. Prizes and giveaways will be awarded throughout the event. Pizza and refreshments will be provided. Plan to bring a tennis racquet if you have one, or we will provide one for you, a water bottle and soft sole tennis shoes. All proceeds for the fundraiser will go towards finding a cure for Angelman syndrome, a rare neurogenetic disorder that affects about one in 15,000 people, or approximately 500,000 individuals worldwide.
