Daddy Rabbit is a uniquely immersive live music event at New York City's coolest speakeasy. Pulling together classically trained pianists, bassists and horn players with jazz singers, MCs and beatboxers, this is an ever-changing carousel of world-class sound. The show mixes original compositions with unique interpretations of Soul, Jazz, Rock, Funk and RnB classics.
On Friday May 15, virtuosos pianist Misha Piatigorsky leads a quintet of master storytellers, where the boundaries between artist and audience dissolve into pure rhythm. Rahj Mason’s magnetic vocals will weave through the bright, soaring calls of Tatum Greenblatt’s trumpet and the fluid, silver lines of Tai Kriss’s flute. Grounding the evening’s electricity, Peter Slavov’s deep, walking bass finds its pulse in the intricate, driving heartbeat of Samvel Sarkisyan’s drums, promising a performance that is as much a shared heartbeat as it is a world-class jazz experience.
