Bryant Park Picnic Performances Presented by Bank of America - Contemporary Dance

Event Details
Kick off the 2026 Bryant Park Dance Party season on June 4 with an evening of dynamic contemporary dance featuring performances by Carolyn Dorfman Dance, WHITE WAVE Dance, and Terk Lewis. The program brings together three distinct artistic voices, from Carolyn Dorfman Dance’s emotionally resonant storytelling and athletic movement to WHITE WAVE Dance’s visually striking, internationally acclaimed contemporary works led by Artistic Director Young Soon Kim. Rounding out the evening is dancer and choreographer Terk Lewis, whose impressive career spans Complexions Contemporary Ballet, NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar Live, and Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera. Together, these artists offer an inspiring celebration of movement, creativity, and human connection in the heart of Bryant Park.
Bryant Park Picnic Performances, presented by Bank of America, the free outdoor performing arts festival in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, is underway for its largest season yet in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. Running May 28 through September 11, this year’s lineup features 24 free performances spanning music, dance, opera, circus, and more, including collaborations with New York City Opera and Carnegie Hall, plus the festival’s first-ever Brass and Choir Festivals. The season continues to bring unforgettable summer performances to New Yorkers and visitors alike.
