Queens Centers for Progress (QCP) returns with the QCP Players Theater Program for its second year, culminating in performances of Annie Kids on Thursday, June 4, and Friday, June 5, at 11:00 AM at QCP’s Adult Center in Jamaica, Queens.
Building on the success of its inaugural season, the QCP Players program continues its partnership with AhHa!Broadway, bringing professional teaching artists together with more than 100 participants from QCP’s Day Habilitation program. Through this collaboration, participants explore every aspect of theatrical production—developing performance skills while also contributing behind the scenes in set design, costumes, and concessions.
This year’s production, Annie Kids, showcases not only the talent and creativity of QCP participants, but also the confidence and sense of community fostered through the program. Over the course of the program, participants work collaboratively to bring the beloved story to life, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive and inclusive environment.
