Game of 1000 Boxes, New York City’s beloved live game show experience, officially opens the doors on their brand new, flagship location at 302 Bowery on Saturday, June 6th, 2026.
Since its inception in 2021, Game of 1000 Boxes has hosted over 30,000 players in its signature fast-paced, hour-long competition, where up to 32 players face off in wildly entertaining party games that test social strategy, quick reflexes, and just the right amount of ridiculous trivia.
Anchored by 1000 Boxes’ billboard-sized 40-foot LED wall, teams of four will be put into the center of the action and go head-to-head in a thrilling mini-game showdown. Powered by handheld buzzers and a live host, each round unfolds under studio lighting with live cameras capturing every winning moment.
Beyond the game, the flagship location offers something for everyone, with a full bar and lounge with cocktails, mocktails, and snacks, so players can grab a drink before or after the show. The venue is also available for private events and buyouts.
Game of 1000 Boxes was created by interactive experience designers Dave Rife and Gabe Liberti, along with longtime TV writer and New York Times Crossword constructor Josh Knapp, who designed games for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for many years, and co-created the Emmy-Nominated NBC game show That’s My Jam, where he served as Head Writer.
Grand opening tickets start at $45 per person and are now available for purchase. Head to https://1000boxes.game/ to learn more.
